I think everyone loves a slash of lipstick. But for real, for me, I feel like with the red lipstick thing it all depends on the pair of complexion. I'm just being for real. You have to be fair skinned to get away with that. Whenever a female takes a strong stand for herself, the majority of the time they have to really, really narrow it down to being feminine and wearing dresses and just being lipstick chic.

Aloe vera is known for its soothing and cooling properties. But Aloe vere has more more than these qualities in its kitty. Aloe vera is a miracle plant which helps in giving you all-round beauty from head to toe. Aloe vera gel can be obtained right from the plant. These days the market is choc- a- bloc with several aloe vera gels. You can definitely go for one of them. But aloe vera gel is the most potent when used directly from the plant.

Aloe vera is a good natural product to lighten the complexion of lips. The reason to use aloe vera for lips is it is completely chemical free, moisturizes lip skin, repairs skin cells, fights against free radicals, stimulates and generates production of new skin cells. Apply this gel to lips for 30 minutes and then wash it with warm water.

How to Make Aloe Vera Lip Balm?

Believe it or not, most medicated lip balms contain camphor and/or phenol, which, if used regularly, can irritate lips even more. For a truly healing and soothing lip balm, make your own with natural oils and ingredients such as aloe vera. Chemical free and better than any balm you'll by in the store, your lips will love your homemade aloe vera lip balm.

Measure the beeswax pellets, safflower oil, sweet almond oil and grape seed oil into the top of a double boiler.

Heat the double boiler slowly on low heat, stirring constantly until the wax melts completely. Never try to quickly melt beeswax, use a microwave or place the wax over direct heat as it may combust.

Turn off the heat and remove the top pan of the double boiler. Stir the ingredients constantly and once your lip balm begins to thicken, add the aloe vera concentrate. Stir thoroughly and then transfer the balm into containers.

Use recycled lip balm or lipstick tubes, small balm tubs available in most health food stores or even small baby jars. Allow the balm to cool and harden before capping your container. This recipe will make about 3/4 cup, but can be split into numerous container. Use your healing lip balm within about 1 year, using whenever you like.
